You can style the form and its elements with custom stylesheets (CSS). We do not impose any constraints on custom CSS files, but be careful not to use CSS features not supported by all browsers. There are several possibilities for including custom CSS:

Including CSS via templates

Go to files and templates menu to create your own CSS templates. All templates are available in the Xima® Formcycle Designer. To choose a template for your form, click on form settings to the top right of the Xima® Formcycle Designer.

  1. Create a CSS template

  2. Choose the template in the Xima® Formcycle Designer

Writing CSS in the designer

  1. Open the advanced script tabs of the Xima® Formcycle Designer and click on the CSS tab.
  2. Write your custom CSS.
  3. Click on a form element and select the CSS classes you wish to apply in the propery panel to the right. You will see the changes immediately.

Overwriting CSS

Xima® Formcycle comes with some predefined styles for common form elements. To override these styles, you need to use the right classes and selector. See here for an example file.
